SMA(Shape Memory Alloy) is a kind of smart material which have the special property of remembering their shapes after being pre-stressed, by heating above a critical temperature. In the past, human firstly founded SMA types are Ni-Ti and copper based that have been applied in aerospace and healthcare field. But now, Fusteel has bring a brand new and cost-effective SMA material which possess a low cost (10% of Ni-Ti SMA Material) and relatively high incentive temperature(170°-300°), and no need for mechanical training, this makes extensively use in civil engineering area possible. At present, we have explored the application field including bridge maintenance, PT system for infrastructure intelligent management and maintenance.
